Data Retention Policy

Active Subscription Retention: Uploaded files remain stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage as long as your account remains active and in compliance with your plan quotas.

Expiring Assets: Files configured with time expiry, download limits, or settings that allow one view are deactivated immediately upon reaching their threshold and permanently purged from object storage buckets during automated daily garbage collection cycles.

Manual File Deletion: Deleting an asset via the dashboard immediately revokes its public and private link paths and marks the storage object key for background deletion.

Account Termination Cleanup: Upon account closure or confirmed deletion, personal identifiers and workspace structures are purged from active database tables. Basic billing invoice references are retained for tax compliance.

Telemetry Log Expiration: Server request logs, IP telemetry, and bandwidth event records age out and are deleted or anonymized according to our rolling retention schedule.

Disaster Recovery Backups: Database snapshots and system configuration backups are maintained on encrypted rolling cycles for platform recovery only. Individual user assets cannot be selectively restored from system backups upon request.

Overriding Deletion Schedules: Data retention deletion workflows are automatically paused when an asset, workspace, or account is placed under a legal hold due to a pending subpoena, law enforcement inquiry, DMCA dispute, or safety investigation. Preserved data is permanently erased once the legal hold is formally lifted.
